Taking a Mental Health Day

Mental health days are something I completely advocate for most situations. If school is stressing me out and I need just some time to get on top of things and take the edge off, mental health day is-a-go. I don't take them too often but considering I'm on one while I write this, I thought I'd touch base on the how to get the most out of them.

August Tracks

Note: This playlist has been my go to songs, in conjunction with the entire Matt Corby album, which I am loving. I just ran out of space to fit it in the image. Note ended.

August is slipping away much faster than I expected it to. Music has been a total godsend this month, chucking in some earphones is exactly what I've needed during the past few weeks. This is all very vague, but then again this month has not been the most crystal clear. Anyway, onto the music.

Short Films that will Change your Mood

Weird week. Lots has gone down, my to-do list climbed past 40 things and I have begun the 100-day countdown to graduation. Sometimes when you're swamped with things to do, the smallest break makes the world of difference. I have a playlist of short films/videos on youtube that I know are gonna make me feel way better, and those five minutes or so will alleviate the stress that piles on.

Muted Pink-Nude Lipstick Edit

Nude lipstick is my go to, full stop. I feel like it's super effortless and easy to tie into any makeup look and it will look fantastic. I haven't talked about it much before on this blog, but I'm a big fan of makeup and skincare (especially cruelty-free). I spent some time figuring out how to blog about beauty, but I think and edit of my favourite products is a good way to start. Also, as per usual, everything mentioned in this post is cruelty-free
